siembra armchair
consists of a series of identical pieces arranged continuously to create a cushioned seat. The organic shapes that define the design play with the viewer's senses, simulating a new textile materiality that contrasts with the original, making the object lose its realism. The orthogonal structure of the armchair is defined by round steel profiles on which the plywood body rests, which is made of pine. Each sheet of this material is composed of multiple slats, enhancing the layered image that defines the seat and evoking the planting lines of a crop field. The armchair is part of a set of three matching pieces, completed by a chair and a small table or stool, which also works as a footrest for it.
