siembra chair
consists of a series of identical pieces arranged continuously to recreate a cushioned seat. The organic shapes that define the design play with the viewer's senses, simulating a new textile materiality that contrasts with the original, causing the object to lose its realism. The orthogonal structure of the chair is defined by round steel profiles on which the plywood body rests, which is made of pine. Each sheet of this material is composed of multiple slats, enhancing the layered image that defines the seat and evoking the planting lines of a crop field. The chair is part of a set of three pieces, completed by an armchair and a small table or stool, which also serves as a footrest for it.
