is the result of formal experimentation that uses wood or steel as a medium to propose furniture-objects which have an undefined, versatile, and lasting use. The practice focuses on developing self-contradictory pieces that play with their material reality, and which designs are always seeking an ephemeral and flexible character in contrast to their static nature.

The furniture pieces are handcrafted and produced in Mexico City, where the studio is involved in every production stage that takes place in the workshop. Having participated in many exhibitions and galleries from 2022 to 2025, such as Inédito Mexico Design Week, Capitales Gallery, Mexico Design Fair Puerto Escondido, and Unique Design x Group at Art Week, baba studio continues proposing new designs and prototypes.
